Physics, Chaos, Etc.

[Cosmology] [Fractals]

CERN European Laboratory for Particle Physics--Birthplace of the World Wide Web, CERN provides information on physics, some non-physics conferences, and the WWW.

Chaos at Maryland Chaos is a multidisciplinary science, and this site has links and information on engineering, mathematics, physics, physical sciences, plasma research, and system research, as well as on chaos theory itself including dimensions, fractal basin boundaries, chaotic scattering, controling chaos, etc.

Einstein Light is an award-winning site about Einsteinian relativity. It has several film clips (about a minute each) that use demonstrations and animations to give overviews to Galilean relativity, electromagnetism, the apparent inconsistency between them, Einstein relativity, time dilation and length contraction, E=mc2 and beyond relativity. But for those who have questions and who want to go deeper and further, there are dozens of supporting pages, at levels with or without mathematics.

Fermi Acceleration Lab "Fermilab is a high-energy physics laboratory, home of the world's most powerful particle accelerator, the Tevatron. Scientists from across the U.S. and around the world use Fermilab's resources in experiments to explore the most fundamental particles and forces of nature." Read about the Discovery of the Top Quark

High Energy Physics Newsletters A compilation of physics newsletters.

Jeffry Gold's home page contains information on many topics including: number theory, technical illustrations, quantum mechanics, Eli Khamarov, mathematics, physics, student films, geomagnetism, art, inventions, and more.

Modern Relativity--a short online text in relativity.

Optics.net has a technical resource directory.

Fractals

Mandelbrot and Julia Set Explorer --Not just another collection of fractal images; this page allows you to create and manipulate fractal images online.
