Details on New York Reception
************************************************************

A message from Eastern Regional Director Diane Turnshek:

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America will hold the annual New York Reception for those in the publishing field on Monday, November 8, 2004 at the Society of Illustrators (www.societyillustrators.org), 128 East 63rd Street, New York City, from 7:30 PM to midnight. Professional colleagues and significant others welcome. Please RSVP with the names in your party to Jane Jewell, SFWA Executive Director, at: 888-322-7392 or execdir@sfwa.org (or by mail to P. O. Box 877, Chestertown MD 21620-0877).

This event was renamed from "Authors&Editors Reception" since genre publishers, agents and professional illustrators are also invited.

All SFWA members are welcome to attend. Semi-formal attire suggested. It's an open bar reception, not a dinner; most authors arrange to go out to dinner in groups beforehand. Unfortunately, the building is not handicapped accessible. Link to Ellen Datlow's pictures from last year's event: www.datlow.com/gallery/sfwa03.html
